Few players accepted the shift as calmly as Michael Klinger did, even though the BBL began to play in Australia after his career. 6. D’Arcy Short, HOBART HURRICANES Total BBL Runs: 2109.

Few men are more sought-after than D’Arcy Short among the generation of players who play T20 cricket while traveling the world thanks to franchise cricket. He has played 57 Big Bash League matches, yet amazingly, he has amassed 2109 BBL runs, giving him an astonishing career average of 40.55. Short, who has two BBL hundreds and 18 BBL half-centuries, has established himself as one of the top T20 players in Australia (and beyond), and as a result, he plays a significant role in the Australian national T20 team.

5. Marcus Stoinis, Melbourne Stars, and Perth Scorchers

Shaun Marsh’s international career hasn’t always gone as planned, but his domestic cricket exploits have always been outstanding, and he remains one of the BBL’s top draws. With 20 half-centuries and 2196 runs scored in just 61 games, he has an incredible BBL average of 41.43. He remains a key player for the Perth Scorchers and was a member of the squad that lost to the Sydney Sixers in the BBL 10 championship game in 2021.

3. Glenn Maxwell, MELBOURNE STARS & RENEGADES

2205 total BBL runs

Many players can’t pull off switching sides in Melbourne, but Glenn Maxwell has done it and lived to tell the tale. There is a constant sense of unhappiness with Maxwell since he is one of the most talented players to have ever represented Australia, but his BBL record is excellent. He has scored 2205 runs in 87 games with an average of 32.42, and he continues to be the Melbourne Stars’ talisman as they attempt to end their BBL winless streak.

2. Aaron Finch, Melinda Renegades

2431 total BBL runs

Aaron Finch has been a talisman for Australia in ODI and T20 cricket for the better part of a decade, and his BBL record is equally excellent. He is one of only a handful of players to have scored two BBL centuries, and his 2431 runs have been scored at an average of 34.23.
